Cutting Running Times

Objective: Shorter running times for already existing and new trains

Tasks:

  • Status analyses together with railway undertakings
  • Definition of potentials to make train paths faster
  • Higher priority for international train paths (focus on origin and destination)

End: When running times on Corridor X will be satisfying (freight trains Salzburg -Thessaloniki max. 36 hrs., Salzburg – Halkali [Turkey] max. 48 hrs.)
